Lostine River/City of Lostine Diversion Structure Replacement

  • GRMW ID: 1892
  • Fiscal Year: 2012
  • Fiscal Year: Jan. 1, 2012
  • Implementation: Aug. 1, 2012

The previous diversion structure was built in the early 1960s and represented an aging structure which restricts passage of juvenile anadromous and resident fish. Past repairs of the structure have included adding structural integrity to prevent failure and piling debris to improve passage conditions, still the diversion did not meet State nor Federal fish passage criteria.\r\n\r\nThe resulting project is a diversion structure that requires minimal annual in-stream maintenance, results in reduced erosion and sedimentation, and improves aquatic passage conditions. Design and Engineering for this project was performed by Anderson Perry.\r\n
